• Revise work by collaborating with section editors to streamline content to publication’s voice and mission

Contributing Writer (February 2021 – January 2022)

• Write formal pitches for articles that tackle seemingly ordinary topics from new angles and the perspective of Gen Z
• Communicate with section editors and editor-in-chief to deliver articles in a timely fashion
• Work closely with editors to revise pieces and assure they are publication quality and match with the tone of Adolescent’s content

Teens in Print

• Discuss writing’s various forms in weekly modules with instructor and peers
• Write articles to be published on Teens in Print’s website
• Interview industry professionals for BostonWrites’s annual Pros&Conversation conference
• Won 3 Rising Voice Awards in the Poetry, Personal Essay, and Hermit Crab Essay categories
